Background

Attorney Shepherd has been fighting for defendants, victims, and the wrongfully accused since his first day as a lawyer back in October 2000. He began his career as a criminal defense attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office.

A Commitment to Justice

During his four years as a public defender, Justin zealously fought for and compassionately stood by all his clients in criminal courts throughout New Hampshire. His steadfast dedication to serving the most underprivileged of our society taught him that there is always something more a lawyer can do to help his client.

Prosecuting Serious Crimes

Justin decided it was time to grow as a lawyer, and with his heart for public service, he became a prosecutor with the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office. Justin was a senior attorney with the Special Victims Unit, prosecuting complex felony cases to include sexual assault, arson, child molestation, robberies, and other violent crimes.

Experience Put to Work

In June of 2007, Justin decided that the time had come to find new ways to help people. Attorney Shepherd entered private practice specializing in criminal defense. He now handles all types of criminal matters across New Hampshire.
